It has long been my view that if you want to reform
campaign financing and drastically reduce the influence that corporations and special interests have compared to individuals we ought to say:
"If you are eligible to vote, then you can contribute directly to your favorite politician and party. If you are not eligible to vote, you cannot make direct contributions."
Corporations can't vote. PAC's can't vote. Unions can't vote. Only individual people can vote.
